Description
Four piece, beige, sheer satin and silk wedding dress with lace and chiffon. The dress was made in 1904 and includes a skirt, bodice, petticoat and cummerbund. The skirt is gathered at the waist and has two bands of ruffles around it. The hem has a pleat and is longer in the back than in the front. The bodice has Italian sleeves with a puffed section above the fitted lace. There is a stand up collar, puffed ruffles, and lace at the top. This was donated in 1987 by Catharine and Marjorie Herron of Minneapolis. This dress was worn by their mother, Jessie Moore, at her wedding May 25, 1904 to H. Arthur L. Herron.
