Black and white photograph of a group of people on the porch of the Sampson House hotel, 500 Second Street, Excelsior, Minnesota. Previously called the Slater House. Laroy F. Sampson is the man in the far back center without a hat. Some are holding croquet mallets and there are two croquet balls on the ground.Donated by Donna Smith
