Description
Wedding dress made and worn by Tonie (Gunderson) Moe for her wedding to Oscar Moe in March of 1910. It has short sleeves, beaded trim and a ribbon flower. Tonie and Oscar met at one of the many barn dances. Tonie was a good fiddler and often played at these events. The dress is made of silk poplin. Tonie's sister was a professional seamstress. Oscar and Tonie raised 5 children on the farm that Tonie's parents homesteaded in Lake Johanna Township.
