Note the hitching post next to the street. Mounted photograph of the west side of the Olmsted County Court House located on Second Street S. W. This brick building was used as the County Court House 1866 - 1958. Built at the cost of $32,000 in 1866, this was Olmsted County's first county-owned building. Dome with statue of Goddess of Justice destroyed in cyclone of 1883 and was replaced in 1892. This photo was copied from a glass plate.
