Description
A1986.874a - Photograph of Beulah Bryant circa 1914. She is wearing a nurse's uniform and holding a sleeping baby on a pillow in her lap. Her hand rests on top of the baby and she is gazing down at the baby. The baby is swaddled in a blanket. Photograph is affixed to a piece of plain black paper and another photograph taken at the same time is glued to the opposite side.A1986.874b - Photograph of Beulah Bryant circa 1914. A1986.874c - Handwritten note by Beulah Bryant that reads: "This picture and the one on the other side was taken when I was in training, about 1914 - my uniform was blue [illegible] a full white apron - This is just an extra - I don't want to advertise my profession." The note is written in black ink on a square piece of plain white paper.
