Description
Beach on the North coast of Jutland, Denmark. Signature on the lower right side: “Dinesen 1964.”  From the estate of Knud Zachariasen. Zachariasen grew up in Hjørring, not far from this beach and he returned to visit his childhood haunts many times after he moved to the United States. He settled in Saint Paul, Minnesota where he was a German language teacher for many years.
