Description
Helmet, flight, white  with reflective tape in the form of an upside down "T" (white on orange) on the back. Name plate reads: Helmet Shell flying. HGU-22/P Mil-H-83147(USAF) Size: Large Contract NO.DSAA 100 74-C1025 Sierra Eng. Co. PN 759-03. With a black, retractable visor ( moveable to cover a clear visor). On either side of the helmet is a metal name plate: 60c4459 Dunrite Tool& DIE Corp. Earphones inside the helmet. The oxygen mask with microphone are attached to the helmet. The rubber on the mask imprinted: M1L-M27274(USAF) PT NO450-06 GE  Face Piece Mask,Oxygen-MBU-5.F Size Regular wide  FSN-1660-794-0856
This helmet was used by Tom Culbert ("Culbert 42" on blue tape affixed to front, right of helmet) from his time in Duluth flying the T33.
