Description

This is a print of an artist's rendition of "Wakefield," the birthplace of President George Washington. The small, one-level house is surrounded by bushes and trees next to a lake. It seems as though the artist depicts the location just before sunrise or sunset with more shadows on the house and fauna, but there is a touch of pink on the horizon. A painter, dressed in 1920's or 1930's clothing is shown also capturing the scene on canvas.
