Description
This is a framed copy of the Norman Rockwell picture, "The Street Was Never the Same".  The scene shows a street of people, both inside and outside the buildings stopping whatever they were doing to follow the horseless carriage. A wagon and another horse are seen, with the horse rearing up in fright at the approach of the "carriage". The picture is housed in a homemade frame made of lath and plywood.
