Description
On May 10, 1908, a group of youth were confirmed at the Root Prairie Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church by Pastor N. Giere. The boys standing in the back row are Clarence Skukrud, Sigvald Strom, Ale Amundson, Emil Rain, Edwin Danielson, Clarence Fingersen, Milo Marchant, Melvin Erickson, Melvin Hall, and Clarence Helgerson. The girls include Alma Spelhaug (Mrs. Anton Fross), Mary Halgrimson (Mrs. Alfred Pekup), Millie Grimley (Mrs. Sam Mathison), Mabel Marchant (Mrs. Andrew Pekup), Noral Narverson (Mrs. H. L. Quist), Ida Syverud (Mrs. Theo Redalen), and Alice Jacobson (Mrs. Henry Anderson). The photo was taken by C. R. Moen of Preston. It is in a wooden frame painted black and gold.
