Description
On display card: "This Greenleafton Reformed Church was built in 1869. Inserts show: Eight pastors who served in the church, Miss Anna Greenleaf, Philadelphia PA, who gave $3,5000 to build the church, the new church built in 1914 and Pastor Flikkema who served the next 24 years."

Miss Anna Greenleaf of Philadelphia Pennsylvania donated financially to support the building of a church in Spring Valley in 1869. Her photo is shown over a larger photograph of the church taken by Washburn, Photographer, of Spring Valley. Alongside her photo are other photos of what could be the pastors or later donors of the church. Included in these are P. Lepeltak from August 22, 1869 to August 30, 1877, H. Van Der Plaeg from June 30, 1878 to May 19, 1882, J. P. De Jong from July 24, 1883 to July 21, 1885, H. Borgers from April 8, 1886 to September 6, 1894, A. Oosterhoff from October 1895 to May 4, 1901, A. Klerk from August 27, 1901 to November 1903, William Beckering from July 20, 1904 to December 1907, and Peter Grooters from April 1903. The poster is framed in a brown, light wooden frame.
