Description
This photo, taken by the renowned photographer Matthias Bue, shows the giving of the first check of the $600,000 Corn and Hog Program money in Fillmore County on May 29, 1934. Those pictured in the photo from Fillmore County include P. Abrahamson, Elmer Tabor, Emil Kraling, Lawrence Tollefson, Jay Seymour, Mona Carson and Moppy Anderson.
The photograph is inside an original wood frame with a dark brown varnish. The glass is also original to Bue Studios as evidenced by the Bue stamp on one corner.
