Description
This is a portrait of Mary Ann Kerr who was born October 18, 1809 in Landonberry Ireland. She came to the United States to Brooklyn, New York in 1827. There she married Benjamin Woolenscraft on December 3, 1835. They were the parents of Sarah Ann Wollenscraft who was born to them on August 31, 1840 in Mount Pleasant Florida.

Sarah Ann married Charles Drury on January 3, 1857. He was born in England in 1833. His father and mother were Thomas and Sarah Walker Drury. Thomas was born in Sheffield, England in 1794 and came to America in 1849.

Mary Ann, the subject of this picture, was an ancestor of Coquella Moon. The sketch is housed in a highly decorated frame with a light varnished outer edge and gold painted inner frame that has multiple designs on it.
