Description

When men answered the country's call for World War I, August Witte was one of those who stepped up in defense of his country.  Here he is pictured, surrounded by the American flag and American Eagle to memorialize his service to his community and country.  The image and glass are both convex and both these with the frame are oval-shaped.  The frame is made of wood, painted various shades of brown and outlined by gold paint on the inside and black paint on the outside.
