Description

This plaque has an advertisement for a big barn dance event planned at the Andrew Olson farm South of Preston, to which everyone was invited. The year is unknown, but the date was to be Tuesday Eve, May 24. Pete's Five-Piece Orchestra was scheduled to provide the music. The original paper of the poster looks to have been glued to a piece of wood, which was then sanded in certain areas to give it a more rustic look. It is covered in epoxy to seal the wood and give it a shiny, clear appearance. There is a felt backing.
