Description

In 1908, members of the Redalen family gathered to grieve the loss of Marie Solie Redalen of the Root Prairie Area. She was born on October 10, 1861, with her earliest years growing taking place during the great American Civil War, and died on November 13. This photo shows a separate photo of Marie pasted to the photo of the wreaths used for funeral memorials of the day. The photo is mounted on black paper and put in between firm cardboard and a piece of glass. The "frame" is another piece of white tape pasted to the glass and black glass taping the glass and cardboard together.
