Description
In 1919, local Mabel photographer Moen took a picture of all the students being taught at the Mabel school during that year. The students, and some of their teachers or janitors, gathered in front of the Mabel High School main entrance to take the picture. In some places there are five rows of students. The front rows are sitting and kneeling on the grass. The back rows stood on the grass and on a makeshift step and others utilized the steps to the building and their sides to pose for the picture. Behind the extreme wings of the students are a few trees and houses.

The photo is held in a simple wooden frame, varnished a dark brown.
