The WPA Guide to Minnesota was published as part of the Federal Writer's Project Guide to 1930's Minnesota with an introduction by Frederick Manfred. The publication was compiled and written by the Federal Writers' Project of the Works Progress Administration. Originally published by the Minnesota Historical Society Press in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1938. New material was added in 1985 by the Minnesota Historical  Society.  It is 539 pages in length with an index. It has a  maroon paper cover with a fish illustration.
