Description

For the 1943 to 1944 school year, the Thorson School District 56 employed Mrs. Helen Martin to teach their children. They all gathered outside for a photograph during the cool months of the year. In the front row from the left are Joanne McKeown, Marion Borgen, Marlys Narveson, Palmer Borgen, Orvis Dahl, Arlis Trogstad, Gordon Dahl, Edward Dahl, and Donald Becker. In the back row are Mrs. Helen Martin, Betty Trogstad, Betty Narveson, Carol Holger, Howard Borgen, Harland Sorenson, Arthur Anderson, Bernard Splittstoesser, and Richard Braithwaite.

The photo is held secure in a custom mat of pastel green which also holds the identification. It is all in a simple varnished wooden frame.
