Description
In 1937, Avis Asleson was employed by the Thorson School District 56 to be the teacher of the students there. In the fall, the students all gathered outside for a photograph. In the first row from the left are Arthur Anderson, Ruby Trogstad, Betty Trogstad, Carol Holger, and Thomas McKeown. In the middle row are Gordon Overland, Norma Miller, Norman Overland, Betty McKeown, Laverne Asleson, Marjorie Sorenson, and Edna Holger. In the back row are Gorden Anderson, Roy Overland, Lillian Sorenson, Bernice Brevig, Teacher Avis Asleson, Olive Thorsen, and Doris Sorenson.
The photo is held securely in a custom mat of pastel green which also holds the identification. It is all in a simple varnished wooden frame.
