Description
This is a photograph of Alexander Watson, who was one of the early settlers to Fillmore County, establishing himself in Preston as the local shoemaker around 1864. This photo was taken while he was still in London by W. H. Franklin, a portrait and landscape photographer who was located at 3 High Street and Victoria Road.The photograph is held in an oval wooden frame of a simple design, colored brown and accented with gold. The photo is further surrounded by a mat of a light gray-green shade.
