A label below the framed photograph reads: "TOWER HOTEL FIRE 4 - 4 Alarm Fire - 229 Cedar Avenue November 26, 1950 at 12:34 p.m. Minneapolis FD Captain Stan Holewa carries a heavy lady down the aerial ladder from the fourth floor that was on fire. This was referred to as the 'Era of Iron Men and Wooden Ladders'."
