Attendees pose outside of a building. Attendees are mostly men wearing suits along with a few women in dresses. Written in white in the lower right corner of the photograph: "59th ANNUAL CONVENTION OF THE MINN. STATE FIREMEN'S ASSOCIATION". 

The photograph is in a wooden frame with glass glaze. The frame is stained a dark/black color and has decorative moulding.
