Description
Swedish silver metal firefighter's helmet (A) and brass metal plaque (B).

Silver metal firefighter's helmet. The helmet is plain in design. It is shaped and styled like a Roman helmet with a slight crest on the top of the helmet. The bottom brim of the helmet flares out in front (for a short visor) and in the back. Attached to the interior of the helmet is a leather lining. The lining has round tan leather flaps that are tied together in the center. There is an adjustable brown leather chin strap with a silver metal buckle. On the back of the interior of the helmet is a damaged manufacturer sticker that partially reads: "B[?]SSMANS B[?]ED[?]AP B B H HALMSTAD". 

Plain rectangular brass metal plaque that is engraved with text. The plaque reads: "SWEDISH FIRE FIGHTERS HELMET PRESENTED TO RAY C. MALMQUIST DURING HIS VISIT TO GOTHENBORG, SWEDEN 1959".
