Description
Black and white photograph of Clarence Nimmerfroh and Arthur Fielder in 1972. Gold metal frame with glass glaze with brown cardboard backing. 

Printed label: In 1972 Arthur Fiedler, renowned conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra, paid a visit to Minneapolis to lead the Minnesota Orchestra. Fiedler, a avid Fire Buff, was met by Chief Nimmerfroh and presented with an Honorary Fire Chiefs helmet. He was then driven into Minneapolis on a fire truck. At the time of his death, Fiedler had amassed one of the largest collections of rare and historic U.S. fire helmets."
