Brass metal decorative dress uniform firefighter helmet from the New South Wales Fire Brigade in Australia. Round shape with wide brims on the front and back of the helmet. The front brim is pointed. Stamped on the front of the helmet "NSW / FB". The lettering is framed with two fire hoses on the bottom. On the top of the helmet is a rounded decorative Mohawk with an image of a fire-breathing dragon on both sides. On both the left and right sides of the helmet are two large round decorative buttons with an image of a round flower. Attached to these buttons is a leather and brass chain chin strap with a brass metal buckle. Written in black marker on the bottom of the back of the helmet: "C ELBOURNE [?]". There is a manufacturer mark on the back of the bottom of the helmet that reads: "W. DOWLER & SONS / BIRMINGHAM". The interior of the helmet has brown leather lining.
