Lake Johanna Fire Dept. Belt Buckle

Description

A silver belt buckle in the shape of an elongated Maltese cross (the top and bottom edges of the cross are longer than the left and right sides). A white circle is in the center of the cross and features the iconic firefighter's badge, which consists of a red Maltese cross and a grouping of fire symbols in the center. The horizontal and vertical bars of the buckle are painted a glossy red. The date "1943" is on the left bar and the date "1993" is on the right bar. The text "Lake Johanna Fire Dept." is embossed on the bottom bar. On the underside of the buckle, the 'Firemen's Prayer' is printed on a raised piece of silver, between the buckle prong (the piece that slips into the belt strap's notches) and the frame. Below the prayer is a raised image of a shield that features the text "Made In USA."
