Description

General Electric brand Personal Radio Charger Rapid Three. The charger rectangular and pyramid shaped. The base is grey plastic and the top (where the radio is inserted to charge) is black plastic. On the front of the charge is a silver metal manufacturer plate with printed silver and black lettering. On the left side of the plate are two colored plastic cylindrical light bulbs. The top light bulb is green and is labeled "READY" in silver lettering. Under the green light is a yellow/orange light bulb that is labeled "CHARGING" in silver lettering. Next to the lights is a manufacturer label that reads "GENERAL GE [logo] ELECTRIC / PERSONAL RADIO CHARGER / RAPID THREE / RECHARGES BATTERY IN 3 HOURS". "IN 3 HOURS" is underlined in black marker. It appears that "3 HOUR CHARGER" was written in black marker above the silver plate but has since been wiped away. On top of the front of the charger, next to the black charging port, is a small silver metal plate with stamped black lettering that reads "CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS / 3179 / RADIO ELECTRONICS". Attached through the bottom of the back of the charger is a large round rubber electric power cord with a 3 brass metal prong wall plug. Stamped on the top of the wall plug "CONNECT TO / GROUNDED / OUTLET". The bottom of the charger is black metal. Near the four corners are round brown rubber feet with brass metal in the center for the device to rest on. There is a large white manufacturer sticker label with printed black lettering on the bottom of the device that reads "GENERAL GE [logo] ELECTRIC / PERSONAL RADIO CHARGER / RAPID THREE / COMBINATION NO. 361L3A1X / INPUT: VOLTAGE 109-133 VAC 1 [O with a vertical line through it] / FREQUENCY 50-60 Hz / CURRENT 100 MA / POWER 8.5 WATTS / FUSE 1/4 AMP SLOW / WARNING: HAZARDOUS VOLTAGE UNDER THIS / COVER UNPLUG AC POWER BEFORE OPENING / NO USER SERVICEABLE COMPONENTS INSIDE / RECHARGES THE FOLLOWING BATTERIES / 19D413522G1 500 MAHR 19D413522G4 700 MAHR / RECHARGES BATTERY IN 3 HOURS / MOUNTAIN VIEW RD. Below this large label is a horizontal rectangular silver metal plate that is black with silver and stamped lettering that reads "S.N. [Serial Number] 911434721". Under the silver plate is a small white sticker label with printed black lettering that reads "19D423169G / REV".
