A Gamewell Fire Alarm Box that is made of cast aluminum and painted red. The box has a vertical rectangular shape with a sloped roof and a door on the front. The Gamewell name and insignia of a hand holding lightning bolts is embossed on the front of the roof. The white pull station guard in the center of the door has a red triangle at the top, creating a similar shape as the box. The raised text “TO OPEN” is printed inside the triangle, while the text “PULL HANDLE” is on the handle of the station guard. Also, the raised text “THEN PULL DOWN LEVER” is on the body of the pull station guard. A circle of glass is between the text on the body and shows the lever behind the guard. Below the pull station guard is a brass plate that features the bronze number “382” against a black background. The raised text at the bottom of the box reads “FIRE ALARM STATION, THE GAMEWELL CO. NEWTON MASS.
