Battery compartment for the CairnsIRIS thermal imager. Black plastic rounded rectangular box with a black rubber cord coming out of the top. The front of the compartment has a large round green rubber power push button in the upper left corner. There is a silver metal latch on the right side and a hinge on the left side of the compartment. The compartment opens in the back. On the back near the top is a danger label with warnings to not operate the device without proper training. Around the inner rim of the compartment is a red suction closure. On the bottom of the interior of the compartment are two brass metal prongs to connect to the battery. Connected at the top is a black rubber cord to connect to the thermal imager to power it. A small section of the cord is coiled. The plugs on both ends of the cord are made with silver metal.
