Buffalo Fire Appliance Corporation Inverted Type-Cartridge Operated Fire Extinguisher, Model Number 94-17. Silver stainless steel cylindrical tank. Round green-painted metal top. Thin, small, short, black rubber hose with a small brass nozzle on the left side of the tank. The bottom is hollow with a thin silver steel metal bar across it. On the right side of the tank is an inspection label which indicates that the last inspection was in April 1978. On the front of the tank is a large silver metal with printed green and silver manufacturer, product, and instructional information. It reads in part: "BUFFALO / better-built [logo] / ... / USE WATER ONLY / STAINLESS STEEL PROTECT FROM FREEZING / FOR FIRE / TURN BOTTOM UP / AND PRESS DOWN / WARNING / DO NOT USE ON LIVE ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. / EXTINGUISH FIRE PROMPTLY AND AVOID EXPOSURE / TO SMOKE AND FUMES. / TO CHARGE / [instructions see object photos] / INSPECT YEARLY / [instructions see object photos] / TESTED TO 500 LBS. / BUFFALO FIRE APPLIANCE / CORPORATION / DAYTON 1, OHIO / FY [in a box] / MODEL / BU [in a box] / NO. 94-17 / Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
