Description
Two (2) wooden pike poles (a-b) that are attached to the right and left side of the 1919 American LaFrance Fire Truck (2001.01.001.1-2) by three (3) round, red painted metal brackets. Both Pike Poles consist of a round wood pole with a metal ring on the bottom end, and a metal hook on the top end. The metal hooks are 3/8 inch thick and fifteen (15) inches long, including the base of the hook that is attached over the top end of the pole. The hooks have both a straight and curved spike.
