"FOR FIRE Shur-Stop Kit" With Red-Painted Tin Metal Carrying Case (a) and Two (2) Red Glass Fire Hand Grenades (b-c)Red-Painted Tin Metal Carrying Case (a): A red-painted silver tin metal carrying case. The case has a briefcase-style with a brass metal closure latch and a black-painted steel metal handle on the top of the case. The latch has a little slide switch to secure it. On the front of the case has a large black printed paper manufacturer label with red and yellow text that reads "FOR FIRE / [small oval-shaped logo with red and black text] SHUR LINE / INTERNATIONAL / Shur-Stop / REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. / KIT / THROW EXTINGUISHERS AT BASE OF FLA[ME] / INTERNATIONAL FIRE EQUIPMENT CORP. / U.S. PAT. NO. 1914710 STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A. / [too small to be readable] / MADE IN U.S.A." The front lid of the case flips down with two hinges on the bottom. The interior of the case has an insert with six (6) places to contain and carry glass fire hand grenades. The places include a hole in the bottom with a black foam cushioning/lining and two (2) steel wire holders to keep the grenades in place.
Two (2) Red-Colored Glass Carbon Tetrachloride Fire Hand Grenades (b-c): Two (2) matching identical round red-colored glass carbon tetrachloride fire hand grenades. The grenades are round and are shaped like a standard light bulb with a large round base and a narrow top. The grenades are filled with carbon tetrachloride. Carbon Tetrachloride is highly UNSTABLE and TOXIC! Handle with great care!
