Interspiro Brand Breathing Apparatus with Gas Mask and Seat Bracket.
A self-contained breathing (SCBA) that is bolted to the east wall of the Truck Gallery (a.k.a. East Gallery), to the right of the north east display cabinet. The apparatus consists of an adjustable padded black fabric shoulder straps with a fabric safety belt connected to a black plastic back-plate. Attached to the back of the back plate is a round cylindrical aluminum and fiberglass oxygen tank. Painted onto the tank is a red and white graphic as well as black lettering. The text is mostly obscured by the plastic back plate. The tank is connected to a gray plastic gas mask via a high-pressure air hose, which attaches to a bypass valve on the left side of the mask. The mask has a large plastic lens over the face. A stuffed, black leather support device is over the top of the apparatus. The text "General" is sewn in gold thread onto the top, front facing side of the support device.
