Fire Hose and Fire Badge American Flag Artwork
A large artwork of an American/United States flag made using strips of fire hose and fire department badges. The thirteen (13) stripes are made with strips of alternating red and white canvas and rubber-lined fire hoses. The white fire hoses have thin black/dark blue and red stripes on the top and bottom. There are seven (7) shorter stripes to accommodate the blue field and six (6) longer stripes. The fire hoses appear to be worn with burn and soil marks. On a wooden blue field are fifty (50) small white wooden (?) stars with fifty (50) silver metal fire department badges. The badges have a rounded triangular shape with a fire department/station number in the center. The flag is bolted and mounted on three (3) wooden blocks on the back.
