Description

This is one of the propaganda posters issued by the United Nations to the American Public during World War II emphasizing the tremendous lack of food in occupied countries. The poster shows the flags of the some of the allied countries in the United Nations and a picture of their representatives at a conference to discuss the food supply problems. Below that picture is another photo showing the food lines in Belgium of people waiting for an ounce of meat per week. The poster says "WE are United Nations.  Food is a Big Problem." The poster was made by LIFE magazine.
