Description

Chalkboard: Slate board with a wooden frame with metal corners. On one side of the board are lines carved into the board. On the opposite side there is a channel carved out of the frame for a piece of chalk. Written in chalk on the board is "School slate used while at school in Throndlijem, Norway. From 1875 to 1878 by Bernt Mathias Eide. Came to America in 1881."
