From earlier PastPerfect description: "Crushed rock called 'grit' temper mixed with clay. Woodland. Crushed rock (granite most common) called "grit" temper mixed with clay. Decorated with designs made with cord-wrapped stick, or sometimes with a carved stamp. No handles. Roughened body; paddled with a paddle wrapped with cord, usually built by adding pieces of clay together--not by coiling. Card Display #2. Goes with 1.1.869-1.1.895."
