Description
Handwoven wool blanket. It is approximately 77 1/4" x 71 1/4". It is red, bluish green, and pale yellow. It has a checkered pattern of bluish green squares with a vertical and horizontal yellow and green stripe with edged in red. Along the edges is a wider stripe of red and green, yellow and green, red and green, pink and green, red and green, yellow and green, red and green, then green, thin pink and green with red and green on each side. The blanket is two pieces sewn down the center. The edges are unfinished so there is a fringe on two sides. There are many holes and many large dark stains.

Handwoven in Indiana, brought to Minnesota c1900 by Mrs. Bell.
