Description

Shawl: Black light weight wool shawl with fringe. The shawl is 61 1/4" x 59" excluding the fringe. There is a 3" black fringe. Before the fringe is an open weave edging. Condition - There are holes. A lot of the fringe is missing. There are light stains. MOLD? - The shawl may had mold. It was laid out to dry and was vacuumed on 2/8/2006.

The shawl belonged to Mrs. Wm. H. Barlett's mother. She wore it to church. The shawl was over 90 years old at the time of its donation.
