Description

Cap, Garrison: World War II Italian partisan garrison cap. The cap is dark green wool. It is 11" long. The cap is 3 3/4" high on the sides and 2" high in the front and 2 1/2" high in the back. The brim folds up all the way to the top. There is a crease along the top. There is no lining. Condition - There are light brown stains in areas on the outside and on the entire inside.

The donor, Rodney Vance of Red Wing, served in the U.S. Army Airforce with the 451 B.G. (Bombardment Group), 726 Squadron, based in Italy.
