Description
Coat: Black wool cutaway coat. The coat has a notched collar. The lapel is black satin. There is a button hole on the left collar. There are two black faille buttons on each side of the closure. There are no buttonholes. There is a dart on each front side. The cuffs have 2 black faille decorative buttons and a fake slit. The front of the coat ends at the waist with pointed ends. The back of the coat has princess lines. There are long tails. There is a long vent with a pleat on each side and a black faille button on top of each pleat. On the inside back neck is a black label with a red flat iron. In white is "Reid/Brothers/(red iron)/A1 the sign of/the Red Goose". The coat is lined with black satin. On the inside on each side is a vertical slit pocket. The inside right pocket has a white label with a red flat iron with black stitching. In black is "Reid/Brothers/(red iron)/A1 the sign of/the Red Goose/Minneapolis". On the right of the label written is "H.W. Webster/11-3-06/1058". Condition - Good. MOLD - The coat had mold. It was laid out to dry and was vacuumed on 1/13/2006.

Goes with pants 1.1.4392b and vest 1.1.4392c.

The accession book and computer records state this is from 1903.
