Description
Grain sack with "R.D. Schwartau" printed on it. The grain sack is light tan cotton canvas. It is 19 1/8" x 40 1/2". Down each front side is a light purple stripe with two gold stripes on each side. In the front center stamped in black in a circle pattern is "BEMIS/A/EXTRA HEAVY/SEAMLESS/44". Stamped in black on the other side of the bag is "C.H. SCHWARTAU./J.C. SCHWARTAU./H.P. SCHWARTAU./R.D. SCHWARTAU./A.W. SCHWARTAU./C.F. SCHWARTAU/11-4-70/R.D.S.". The top left corner has a white cord attached to a hole in the bag. Condition - There are numerous black and brown stains.
