Description
Umbrella: Man's black nylon? umbrella. The umbrella is 41 3/4" long from ferrule to handle. The cover is black nylon?. At the bottom of the cover is a 3/8" wide x 5 1/2" long black nylon? strip that goes around the cover. It is fastened to the cover by a black plastic button and there is a black colored metal ring towards the end of the strip. There is no inside cover. The cover is approximately 24 1/2" long (at a rib) and has an approximately 40" diameter when opened. It has black metal ribs. The top of the stick is black metal. The bottom 12 3/4" of the stick is medium brown smooth bamboo?. There is a small silver colored band around the top of the bamboo. At the bottom 2" of the stick is a dark silver colored end in a hexagon shape. In has engraved flowers. Above the handle is black twisted cord that attaches to a carrying loop. The carrying loop is black woven cotton and is 3/8" wide x 4 3/4" long. Where the cord attaches to the loop is a black plastic bell shape piece. The ferrule is black metal and is 4 1/8" long. At the base of the ferrule is silver colored metal. Below it is a small 1/4" wide nylon? ruffle. The sliding tube that opens the umbrella is silver colored metal. There is a metal clip inside the tube that is pushed in to open the cover. At the top of the tube where the ribs join there is black nylon? around the ribs. See accession note.
