Description
Veil: Bridal veil of white tulle. The veil has a wire headband. On the headband are cream wax seed buds with green spots and four wax yellow flowers with stamen paper like centers and yellow flowers on each bottom side. There are a few green silk leaves. There is elastic along the bottom of the band. There is white loop stitching down each side. The bottom on each side has loop stitching and lace flowers with long stems (two flowers with a vine in between). On each bottom side there is a 2" diagonal overlay of scalloped flower lace. Goes with 1992.3.1-3. Worn by Gladys Ione Marie Hoffman Carlson when she married Philip Marshal Carlson at St. Paul's Church in Red Wing on November 27, 1930. She was born in 1908 and died in 1992.
