Description

This postcard was written on August 21, 1913 by Effie to her aunt, Roena Zebaugh, who lived in Ostrander. Effie told Roena her mother missed little Elizabeth. Effie herself wasn't feeling well, and she updated Roena about some of their activities in the last few days. There is a one cent postage stamp on the card, upside down. It was post dated in Spring Valley on August 21, 1913. The picture side shows two dark irises growing in front of a picture of a lake with a tall tree which assists in hiding the building that only has the roof visible.
