Description

This postcard was sent as a new year's greeting by a woman named Bernice to Norman Henderson, who lived in the Lime Springs area. She wished him a merry Christmas and a happy new year. The postcard was stamped in Spring Valley on December 24, 1913. There is a one cent postage stamp on it. The picture side of the card shows a winter scene of a snow-covered log house with a couple trees in front and behind it on the upper left side. Across the remainder of the card are some flowers and springs of holly. Beneath the greeting is a space where the sender could have written his or her name on the front.
