In the late 1890s, possibly 1894, the St. Anthony street of the Fillmore County seat, Preston, was home to the Preston Times, the Part Hotel and a few other businesses. This artistic rendition of the street was created by an artist named Capek in 2004. In total, he sketched six of the buildings on that street. Three of them have writing on the building or signs attached to them. On the street, a man stands on a wagon, driving a team of horses. Capek was commissioned to create this sketch as a way to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the town.
