Description

framed prototype of work by sculptor Evelyn Raymond "The Family" a sculpture by renouned sculptree Evelyn Raymond was created in 1959 for tje front of the MSI home office at 1919 University Aveenue. The copper Sculpture whioch protrayed the protection that insurance provides the family, weighed 1.5 tons and meausred 20' by 21'. Although it was a very prominent part of MSI's heritage, "The Family" was not archiotecturally compatable with the new building in Arden Hills. It was donated to the University of St. Thomas in September 1983 and mounted on the east wall of the University's Coughlan Field House. Moved in 2013 to Brady Hall Sculpture Garden.
