Description
Abraham Lincoln was one of the most famous and controversial United States' presidents due to his leadership during the Civil War and his Emancipation Proclamation of the slaves following the battle of Antietam, or Sharpsburg. After the war, his plan of rebuilding the country was cut short upon his assassination and death, but it did assist in his "immortality" in the history of the country. Many statues and memorials have been put up honoring him for his life and death.

This picture is of one of Abraham Lincoln's statues. Lincoln is standing upright, as if he is preparing to give a speech. Behind him is a chair with the American Eagle carved into the back.

The frame holding the picture is a simple wooden frame with a leafy design carved in the outer edging. It is painted a light brown that has a more golden sheen to it.
